Somerset Cancer Care Group
Somerset Cancer Care is a division of St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice, providing information, confidential support and free stress-reducing complementary therapies to anyone affected by cancer: patients, carers, family members or friends, from diagnosis onward, helping people live with cancer.
Professionally trained volunteers run C.A.F.E. (Cancer Aid for Everyone) drop-in support groups in Taunton, Minehead, Wells, Weston-super-Mare and Yeovil. These provide an opportunity for anyone affected by cancer to chat informally to other patients and carers, and to talk to someone outside their family and friends who understands the stress and anxiety that cancer brings.
