Tips

Travel Passport
You can obtain a credit card sized ‘No Waiting’ card advising that you have a medical condition and requesting use of toilet facilities URGENTLY.  A larger passport sized leaflet is also available that can be handed to Customs or Security at airports or sea ports. This states that if examination of your appliance is required a Qualified Medical Practitioner must be present. It also advises that you will be carrying medical supplies in your hand luggage and they must be within easy access.

General note always keep your medical supplies in your hand luggage not your checked in hold luggage. Be aware that the overhead lockers on some aircraft can be very cold so your pouches should be insulated by being placed towards the centre of your hand baggage. Rowland

Toilets
At a recent meeting it was agreed to produce a list of toilets recommended by members for those of us with stomas. The link below will take you to a list of  facilities that have been identified so far, more will be added as they are evaluated.
