Welcome
Rowland welcomed members to our 48th meeting and advised that our next meeting will be the 4th Anniversary of formation of the group so party time has come round again. It is also intended that we present cheque's to the recipients of the proceeds of this year’s Cream Tea event.
Apologies
Apologies were received from John & Cynthia; Pat & David; Eric (John, Pat & Eric were recently discharged from YDH after having their stomas refashioned); Mike E who has restarted chemotherapy; Ken & Ruth (Ken is recovering from surgery); Peter; Jim & Patricia; Sylvia and Heather.
Correspondence
Apologies were received from Heather; Julie; Joe; Pat & David and Peter from Portland who were unable to attend the Cream Tea due to health or family commitments; they wished us well and hoped we had a successful afternoon.
Heather also said she had written to Claire Corry at ASWCS to advise her that she was resigning as a User Representative from the Colorectal Site Specific User Group and the User Involvement Group. Claire Corry thanked Heather for her commitment and contribution during her membership as a user representative.
Peter advised that he had had an operation on one of his feet and when recovered would be having the other one attended too. This means he will be unable to attend our next two meetings but looked forward to receipt of copies of our minutes to keep in touch with what was going on.

Patient & Carer Stories
Following my request to members at the last meeting I have not received any offers of stories to add to our web pages. The YDH web site page “The Patient Perspective” has a piece from Susan M.
