Colorectal/Stoma Care Department Julie asked members for feedback in relation to patients seen at consultation who require prescriptions for treatment of conditions such as constipation, diarrhoea or skin conditions around a stoma. The practice has been for patients to obtain a prescription from their GP and then get the prescription filled by a local pharmacy. This can lead to several days of delay in the patient starting the required treatment. Back Next Page
