Conclusion of Workshop
The workshop concluded with Liz asking us all to say what we thought we had each achieved from the workshop and whether it had met our expectations. Each member took this opportunity to personally thank Liz for her efforts and the warm and friendly way she had conducted the workshop.
We all agreed it had been a satisfying, enjoyable and worthwhile experience that gave us the confidence that we had the skills and guidelines that would help both within the group and in providing telephone support.

Catering Money
Catering donations raised £33.50; £10 of this was passed to Stan & Hazel for the superb homemade sandwiches they brought along for lunch. The balance was passed to St Margaret’s at the end of the meeting.
Cream Teas
Our Cream Tea afternoon had raised about £900 after deducting expenses; arrangements are being made for presentation of cheques to YDH Oncology Unit, YDH Colorectal Stoma Care Department and St Margaret’s Hospice, Yeovil.

The web site has been updated to cover recent events; a selection of photographs from the Cream Tea afternoon has been added.
